Sometimes you’ll want to give trusted partners access to your Wix site—whether it’s us helping with web design, SEO, or maintenance, or another collaborator such as a content writer, photographer, or marketing specialist. Wix makes it simple to grant and remove access while keeping full control of your site.
In this guide, you’ll learn step-by-step how to add a collaborator and how to remove them when their work is complete.
How to Add Us (or Anyone Else) as a Collaborator on Wix
Log in to Wix
Go to wix.com and sign in to your account.
Open Your Site Dashboard
From your account homepage, select the site you’d like to manage.
In the left-hand menu, click Settings → Roles & Permissions.
Invite a Collaborator

Click Invite People.
Enter the person’s email address (for example, ours (info@qbiclewebstudio.com if we’re helping with your site).

Assign the Right Role
Choose the role that matches what the collaborator will do. Some common roles which you may choose to assign to us are:
Admin – Full site management access.
Website Manager – Can edit the website’s content and design.
Send the Invite
Click Send Invite. The collaborator will receive an email invitation. Once they accept, they’ll be added to your team.
How to Remove a Collaborator
When a project ends or access is no longer needed, you can remove a collaborator in just a few clicks:
Log in to Wix and open your site dashboard.

Go to Roles & Permissions under Settings.

Find the Collaborator you want to remove.
Click the More Actions (⋮) Icon next to their name.

Select Remove, then confirm.

Once removed, they’ll no longer be able to access your Wix site.
Why This Matters
Security – Only active team members should have access.
Control – Assign roles based on responsibility to protect sensitive info.
Flexibility – Add us or other collaborators when needed, and remove them when the task is done.
Final Note
Giving us—or any other trusted professional—collaborator access ensures you get the help you need without giving away control of your Wix account. You remain the site owner, and you can add or remove collaborators at any time.
